Welcome to SEAPORTS PRESS REVIEW, a global update of port, shipping, multimodal, logistics and maritime news.
The theme for the Fall issue of AAPA Seaports Magazine is "Green programs enhancing environment and bottom lines," and it will include coverage of the AAPA Harbors, Navigation & Environment Seminar and GreenPort Americas. Bonus copies of this issue will be distributed at AAPA's 99th Annual Convention and Exposition in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (September 19 - 23). If you are not a subscriber or AAPA member, you can always view the full cover-to-cover soft copy on www.aapaseaports.com once it is published.
For this Fall issue, we do have limited space still available for letters to the editor, 200 words max, on the theme of the issue. If interested, please contact me directly before this Friday.
On a separate note, I am proud to announce that the Port of Los Angeles has awarded us the contract to again produce their high-profile Port of LA Handbook, slated to be published by this Nov/Dec. Its editorial, terminal specs, business listings and overall content are a work in progress.
If you are interested in advertising in the AAPA Seaports Magazine and/or the Port of Los Angeles Handbook, please contact David Cantwell (dcantwell@joc.com) or Cindy Cronin (ccronin@joc.com) at 954-628-0058, extension 173 and 131, respectively.
Lastly, production for the 2011 Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) Port Guide is underway. This year, we are offering an integrated print, online and flash drive branding package that is sure to deliver your key messages and unique selling proposition to your target markets ... it's the perfect venue to penetrate the NY/NJ marketplace. Kindly click on the link for detailed promotion/advertising literature, including print/online circulation, contents, rates, and more:
